Biography

My professional journey is a convergence of entrepreneurship, creativity, and resilience. Living in constant evolution, marked by strength, creativity, and the ability to reinvent oneself each day.

Let’s begin from a Language Proficiency Summary

So, when it comes to languages, Italian is my mother tongue and it’s the one I’ve always used, both in academic settings and throughout my professional life. English is the second language I’m very comfortable with—I use it all the time, especially in international and business contexts, so I’d say I have full professional proficiency there. Then there’s French, which I speak and write quite well; I’d place myself at an advanced level, around a C1 on the CEFR scale, so I can communicate effectively in most situations. As for German, my knowledge is more basic—I can manage simple conversations and understand elementary content, enough to get by in everyday scenarios. I almost forgot! I can read Latin and Ancient Greek, too.

Voices for Change: Advancing Awareness and Action in Disease Advocacy

My personal story is intrinsically linked to my professional path. I live with a certified 75% disability—an aspect of my life that has never defined me, but rather taught me to face every challenge with determination and a touch of humor. It is this spirit that has enabled me to transform obstacles into opportunities for growth.

In 2021, I created “Il Lupo dentro” a young poetic collection that explores the intersection between human fragility and the vast digital universe. In a world where rare diseases intertwine with experiences shared on social media, the verses of this collection echo silent voices, untold stories, and the daily struggles of those living on the margins of common understanding.

In 2025, I’ve published “Invisibili ma Connessi” (102 pages, available on Hoepli and Google Play), a mature, personal and collective journey into the world of rare diseases, with a special focus on systemic lupus erythematosus. Balancing testimony, outreach, and critical reflection, the book explores how the web and social media have transformed the ways in which patients, doctors, caregivers, and activists experience illness, seek information, build communities, and claim visibility. Through accessible and engaging language, I’ve tried to guide through the everyday challenges faced by those living with an invisible and complex condition, while also analyzing the potential (and the limitations) of digital technologies as tools for empowerment and sharing. Between viral posts, awareness hashtags, Facebook groups, and testimonial blogs, the book also serves as an invitation to rethink health communication and the role of the internet in creating new forms of solidarity and awareness. An essential read for anyone living with a rare disease, health professionals, and anyone interested in understanding the human and social value of digital connection.

Advancing Innovation at the Frontiers of Science

In 2016, I developed and registered a patent for an innovative solution designed to address a specific technical challenge. This invention reflects my commitment to creative problem-solving and my ability to transform ideas into practical applications. The patent process involved extensive research, design, and collaboration, resulting in a unique contribution within its field.

In the middle of 2021, I wrote a vital compendium for those seeking to navigate the future of computing and operating systems: 80 pages (if interested, you can buy the book on Amazon) that examine the challenges and opportunities emerging within an increasingly digitalized landscape, emphasizing the importance of innovative approaches in the development of tomorrow’s software. It is intended for industry professionals, computer science students, and technology enthusiasts alike, offering not only theoretical insights but also practical guidance for addressing the changes that shape our daily lives.

In 2024, I founded Blood Srl with the intention of creating something not only innovative but deeply authentic. This venture embodies my vision of business as a space where leadership and imagination coexist and strengthen one another.

Igniting Ideas: The Power of the Creative Mind

Beyond the business realm, I cultivate a wide array of passions, ranging from sewing and drawing to photography, cooking, and even the construction of Elvish languages—born from a love of imaginary worlds and the art of linguistic creation. These are not mere hobbies, but reflections of an insatiable curiosity and a creativity that constantly seeks new forms of expression.

In recent years, I unexpectedly began sharing my journey on IG. What started as a personal journal evolved into a source of inspiration for an ever-growing community. People have resonated with my authentic approach and my way of narrating life with lightness—even in difficult times.

Near the childrens…Always.

Always attentive to the needs, rights, and well-being of children. I believe in a future that begins with listening to and respecting childhood.

In 2009, I contributed to the educational initiative Crescere Sicuri (“Growing Up Safe”), focused on promoting online safety among students and families. In collaboration with the Istituto Comprensivo Vincenzo Galilei of Pisa, I worked as a laboratory technician on this impactful project—though the official website is no longer active.

In free time, I worked on a book developed across the years for young readers, whose proceeds are entirely donated to scientific research.

Last but not least, I’ve adopted (long-distance adoption) a beautiful Tibetan Kid Monk with Help in Action e.V.

Honors and Interviews

Among the accomplishments I am most proud of are the Virtual TtGG: ACE and Winning the R certification, issued by The Jackson Laboratory in February 2025, the participation at Project Rosalind and recognition in the EAN Academy Ranking. I have also had the honour of being interviewed for notable initiatives such as Rare Disease Day, where I shared my experience as a “Lupus Warrior,” Sindacato Networker (2013) and the Giovani Sognatori Creativi project in 2015.
